Reimagining Port Disney: Introducing Disney’s Seaside Landing and California DisneyCoast Park

LONG BEACH, CA - In an exciting new venture, the imaginative minds behind your favorite podcast have re-envisioned Port Disney, bringing a unique entertainment district and a brand-new theme park to life. Here’s an insider look at the visionary project set to elevate the entertainment scene.

Disney’s Seaside Landing: A Modern Historic Boardwalk

Welcome to Disney’s Seaside Landing, an entertainment district designed to blend the timeless charm of a historic New York boardwalk with a modern Disney twist. This area, originally set between a planned hotel and theme park, has been expanded by two-thirds to create a vibrant space for guests to begin their Port Disney journey.

Staples and New Concepts: Dining and Shopping Galore

Disney’s Seaside Landing will feature familiar favorites alongside new and innovative offerings:

  • The Boat House: Inspired by the Disney Springs location, complete with vintage Amphicars.

  • Steamboat Weenie’s: Expanding from its Animation Boulevard origins to a standalone outlet, reminiscent of Nathan’s Famous Hot Dog from Coney Island.

  • RainForest Cafe Style Nautical 'Titanic' Expedition: An original Landry's restaurant set on a boat, featuring an intense rain swell every 10-15 minutes and a prop car from the classic film.

Guests can enjoy a variety of dining experiences, including:

  • Scuttle’s Lookout: A quick-service seafood spot with marina views.

  • Bait and Tackle Shop: A speakeasy hidden behind a quaint bait shop façade, offering local beers and seafood in a luxurious under-the-sea lounge. Keep you eyes peeled for "mermaids" dancing on tables.

For dessert and snacks:

  • Seaside Sips and Sundaes: An ice cream soda bar.

  • Coastal Confections: Featuring fudge, specialty popcorn, candy apples, and saltwater taffy.

Shopping options will include:

  • World of Disney: With a nautical twist and exclusive Port Disney merchandise.

  • AMC Movie Theater, a carousel, and a state-of-the-art virtual reality Disney arcade.

The Queen Mary: Historical Integration

The iconic Queen Mary, docked along the shore of the proposed area, will be integrated into Disney’s Seaside Landing. Managed by Evolution Hospitality and owned by the city of Long Beach, it will continue to offer historical tours, dining, exhibits, themed accommodations, and paranormal events, seamlessly blending with the new entertainment complex.

Introducing California DisneyCoast Park

At the head of the boardwalk lies the opulent entrance to the newest theme park, California DisneyCoast. Inspired by early 1900s Coney Island, the entrance features four tall columns with golden spheres, multiple arched gateways, and abstract mouse-shaped windmills, lighting up with grandeur at night.

Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to bring this exciting vision to life, blending beloved Disney magic with innovative experiences for guests of all ages.
